Fed up with traffic speeding in your estate? Now is the chance to change it!
Kildare County Council is undertaking a review of speed limits in residential estates.
The review of current speed limits is being undertaken to ensure that housing estate roads are as safe as possible for pedestrians, cyclists and especially children.
Residents Associations/Members of the Public are invited to make submissions to the Council suggesting residential estates for the possible introduction of a 30 km/h speed limit.
Submissions can be made in writing marked “30 km/h speed limit” to the
Senior Executive Officer,
Roads, Transportation & Public Safety Department,
Kildare County Council,
Áras Chill Dara,
Devoy Park,
Naas,
Co Kildare
or via email to 30kphspeedlimit@kildarecoco.ie
on or before 12 noon Friday, 31 July 2015.
This is your opportunity to voice your opinion on the speed at which cars can travel in housing estates!
